The Register-Star is "the official news paper" for the Town of Kinderhook.  It is the only paper that has a reporter at all Town and Village meetings and reports on these meetings in depth.

The Independent gives some coverage as well.

The Times Union does not cover Kinderhook unless there is something sensational or unusual to cover.  For local coverage, the two above are best.
